- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- Star-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.
- Divide batter into three bowls. Color one red, one blue, and leave one plain.
- Layer batter colors into cupcake liners.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Decorate with vanilla frosting and star sprinkles.
